Had the huckleberry pie and some cocktails and it was awesome. My friend and I talked to Luna for a bit and she was super nice. Definitely a spot to get a good meal in East Glacier.

Good food at reasonable prices. I had huckleberry pancakes that we almost melt in your mouth. We liked Luna's so much that we returned for lunch. I had an Indian Taco more like a tostada made with flat bread, chili, onions, cheese, salsa and sour cream.

Spent the summer working in Glacier Park and went to Luna's a couple times. Though they advertise the pie, I didn't get it either time. After spending a summer surrounded by Huckleberry advertisements, it just doesn't do it for ya after awhile. I ended up getting a burger with sweet potato fries both times cuz you can add what you want to the burgers and blue cheese crumbles were an option. SOLD! It was so big and good, I took half home with me. I was pleasantly surprised by this place and the down to earth staff. It has a certain kind of down home ambiance to it that I really enjoyed. Kudos for letting me plug my dying cell phone in. =)

Huckleberry... Ice cream: 5 stars. Order your dessert with it, or just have it for dessert. Bits of berries, lots of huckle taste, and a nice huge scoop. Pie: 4.5 stars. I think the advertising on every napkin holder is cute, but it creates a slight overhype. Still, superb with hundreds of berries, that outstanding huckle taste (I should trademark that phrase), and a graham cracker crust that you can tell they're making by hand in the back (along with the rest of the pie, of course). Vinaigrette: 6 stars. I ordered it to dip my fries in. Find an excuse. Hell, dip your entire meal in. Order it as a beverage. Pour it on your huckleberry ice cream as a syrup. It is simply that good. Iced tea: 3.5 stars. The huckle bits have a tendency to settle out, so keep stirring. They kept reusing my glass and adding more ice every time - you shouldn't have to ask about things like that. I found that the lemon accentuated the flavor, but you'll also need to ask for the lemon every time. Non-huckleberry: I ordered the bison burger because it's Montana bison - the beef is not from Montana (this not being a steakhouse, that's forgiveable). I think the entrees need to either move upscale a bit more or the prices need to come down a bit. There could also stand to be another couple of choices, maybe take out a couple that are in there that don't really fit with the rest of the menu. I felt like the taco salad, even if it's a Pittsburgh tradition, is very out of place on the menu, and there were a couple of others. Would I come back here again? Absolutely. That's what a 4 star rating is. But I would still want to try a couple of other places in town like Serrano's, so the elusive 5th star was not earned tonight. Still a worthy choice if you're passing through.

Would go back for lunch instead of dinner

They sell Montana Traders Coffee! Really good! the huckleberry pie was A-OK. A little sweet for my taste as the gram cracker crust clearly had a ton of sugar, but it was tasty none the less.
(3)Kristy M.
Surprisingly good and fresh with fast, courteous service! I really enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The huckleberry pie was lip smackingly tart/sweet perfection. Great WiFi! Reasonable prices. Unexpected gem in an expensive place.

We stumbled upon this cleanly decorated log cabin after the signs of promising tasting huckleberry pie lured us in. What we didn't know was that stepping inside would take us to a cozy wooden food sanctuary providing a menu filled with the classics with a mountain twist. The service was prompt, friendly, and with just the right amount of emphasis on the house specialty, that is their graham cracker crust huckleberry pie. We had the Bear Bait, a salmon burger with avocado, very tasty. Also, tried the Indian taco per previous yelper reviews. Indian taco does have a minimal amount of meat, however the waitress happily supplied us with additional beef to put on top.

Some places are just so great you have to share. What's great about Luna's? The food, of course, hits the spot after a long hike. Done up just right, and with a few special variations on the burger-and-fries theme. Try the pork roast "burger". You will have to save room for huckleberry pie. #1 on the list is the people. We arrived at 8:58, saw the sign indicating closing at 9:00. I stepped in & asked the waitress if we could place an order, just to go. She asked me to hold on a minute, ducked into the kitchen to make sure the grill was still on, then welcomed us to sit down and enjoy our meal. "Don't rush," she said. "We've got plenty to do." So, if you want a friendly, welcoming place for a good meal (and pie, too) Luna's is the place.
(5)Devin A.
They have huckleberry pie on the breakfast menu!!! Seriously damn good food! Went for breakfast before spending the day in Two Medicine of Glacier. Biscuits and gravy are to die for!! Waitress said the chef was from Bama and so they have to be good. The gravy tasted homemade and was awesome. Prices are great and service you'd expect from a small town. Loved it!
(5)A K.
Yum Indian taco and buffalo burger. Ask for chili on side, will prevent bread from betting soggy. Huckleberry pie with ice cream was AMAZING. The huckleberry ice cream was also delicious. Staff was very funny and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and service and recommend this restaurant. (They had wifi which made my kids very happy;)
(5)Hucky K.
Convenient location in East Glacier Village, plenty parking, friendly atmosphere, quick service, wonderful staff, hearty Indian taco and very well seasoned...plus...yummy huckleberry pie!!! What's not to like about this place?!
(4)Sam S.
We went to this place after hiking in the Two Medicine lake area. The service was great. We had the black bean burger with sweet potato fries and the bison brat. Their huckleberry pie with ice cream was delicious. In all we were very happy with the food and the service.
(5)Maleka A.
Another surprise. Very unique and fresh food. Indian tacos, buffalo burgers, sweet potato fries, huckleberry tea. And of course their own unique huckleberry pie with cream cheese. Everything is fresh and made on site
(5)Nancy S.
Rushed from West Glacier to here in fear of missing the restaurant famous for its huckleberry pie. And it's worth it. The Indian Taco was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend to anybody who hasn't tried it. And my second favorite was its sweet potato fries which put French fries to shame. Its huckleberry pie is famous in the area and it surely didn't disappoint. Had it with huckleberry ice cream. The sweetness of ice cream was a wonderful complement to the sourness of the pie. Our waitress was kind and helpful. She was informative of the area as well. Overall, a wonderful restaurant. Would definitely visit again if we were in East Glacier. P.S. They open from 4PM - 9PM! Don't go there for breakfast or lunch.
(5)Sarah R.
Best spot in East Glacier! Friendly staff including the owners' elementary school -aged daughter who helped serve our meal one late afternoon. We were in town for work and ate breakfast here all 3 mornings. Breakfast burrito was decent, coffee is from Montana Coffee Roasters, and atmosphere is cozy. Huckleberry iced tea is also a local treat.
(5)Patricia N.
Was visiting Glacier NP in 2014 for a week so I had to try Montana's huckleberry pie. Couldn't really make a comparison cause I had never tried it before and didn't have it anywhere else after, but I thought it was okay. A little too sweet for my liking. However, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was super chill.

After a long day of driving my sister and I made it to our destination, East Glacier Park, and decided to have dinner at Luna's as it was right across the street from our cabin. Our server, Bob, was so sweet and the food was good. I had the burger and my sister had the buffalo wrap. All in all, a great experience!
(5)Charlie L.
After a week in glacier national park, my sis and I exited out and happened upon Luna's. We both had omelets and they were the most delicious things, ever. I will grant you that it may be because I've had days of camp cooking and freeze dried meals, but still.... this place gets a 5 start review for all the down home goodness, free wifi, a waitress that calls you sweetie, and great service even though they were slammed. Highly recommended.
(5)Lisa S.
Not much to eat around East Glacier and we heard good things about this place so we decided to go. Supposedly the BEST huckleberry pie and it was! Really great pie! We also shared the Indian Taco( just ok), and the grizzly bait sandwich which was really good! If we are ever back here, we would return! Very friendly and attentive staff!
(4)Becca L.
I can't say enough good things about the food and atmosphere here - this is a super cool place and i would come back for sure. Be sure to order the Grizzly Bait and Huckleberry Pie :). Also check out the cool crafts for sale. My only complaint was our service, we forgot to tell the server at the beginning of our meal we needed separate checks and she was pretty dramatic about it. It was a simple mistake, we ended up just not splitting the check so we could leave and avoid the drama. When you pay hard earned money for a nice dinner, that is just not cool. The other people who helped us though we're friendly and awesome.
(3)Mrs. E.
Not so great. But if you're starving, it's ok in a pinch....the better choice is Whisle Stop next door.
(3)Dave N.
The food is ok. I prefer whistle stop next door. This place is generally not nearly as busy though which is nice. I had the Hawaiian and my wife the BLAT. Both were just ok. Service was decent, but I was pretty underwhelmed.
(3)Alex M.
Terrific chicken pesto sandwich and amazing pie!
(5)Carol A.
Good food and Good Service. Hubby and I ate at Luna's for lunch one day and liked it so much we tried their breakfast the next day. For lunch I ordered a Salmon Burger and Sweet Potato Fries. Both were delicious! Hubby had the Black Angus Beef Burger and Sweet Potato Fries. He said it was a good choice and suggested we come back for breakfast. For breakfast he ordered their version of French Toast and I got Biscuits and Gravy which was tasty and filling. Nothing fancy...just well prepared food and friendly, helpful service. Wish I'd gotten a piece of Huckleberry pie...the owner says they run through 7 to 12 pies nearly every single day and it did look good. Maybe next time... Luna's is another good place, very popular with the local people around the East Glacier area.
(4)Goss N.
Wonderful service and a friendly atmosphere. Delicious vegetarian options, which seems rare in the area. Loved the huckleberry pie!
(5)Hungry F.
I had the steak and my daughter had a burger. The service and atmosphere is excellent. The food is better than average, but far from excellent. There is zero doubt this group has talent in the kitchen, but the food lacks the pop and flare of some other foodie experiences I've had on the road.

My very first stop when I got into East Glacier was Luna's for a piece of huckleberry pie! By the end of my meal, I'd met Luna and heard all about her families bear troubles, RV travels to her hometown of Pittsburg in the off season and what makes her pie so special. I LOVED this place. It was very homey. A little chilly but that's to be expected. Everyone was laid back and there were pictures of her children on the walls. The place is very cozy. I was very hungry and had a terrible time making up my mind. Finally I decided on a the wild Alaskan salmon burger with avocado, pepper jack cheese and lemon aioli sauce. It was warm, hearty and delicious! They also served beer and wine and had a lot of menu options. And of course I had to have a piece of huckleberry pie. I had already bought some jam (can be found at the Lodge) but had yet to taste it. Mmmm, the flavor is hard to explain. It's like a combination of many berry flavors I'm familiar with. It's sweet and tart and the crust (Luna's secret) was a crumbly, graham crackerlike amazingness that kind of swept itself into each thick, purple bite of sweet tarty Huckleberry heaven. The ice cream was overkill and not needed. But enjoyed. Luna's will have a special place in my heart and I hope to someday return. They also offer wi-fi for customers!
(5)Susan F.
The "Grizzly Bait" sandwich (Wild Alaskan salmon burger w/avocado, pepper jack cheese and a lemon caper aioli) was DELICIOUS! Also we verified the claim that it DOES have the BEST Huckleberry Pie in E. Glacier. After our entree was served, our server disappeared. We had to eventually ask a bus boy to go find her so we could order dessert. There were several empty tables, so it wasn't that they were too busy. For food and atmosphere, I give them a 5*. For service a 3*. We would return there again though just for that amazing Grizzly Bait burger.

We were leaving Glacier National Park and needed a place to stay, I mean a place to stay is important and if its near a place with good eats, its a plus plus plus It was near the end of the season for visiting Glacier National Park and we came upon this very cheap hotel, near this hotel was not many places to eat, just a few. So we came upon Lunas Restaurant, this place was packed. I had the: Zucchini fries which tasted pretty good, flavorful and not over fried nor too much batter. I had the salmon burger which was not fishy. Also shared a huckleberry pie and it tasted fresh, apparently huckleberry pie is a must try in the northwest. This place was pretty good that we came back for breakfast the next morning. I had the veggie omelet with home fries and toast, this was delicious. There is FREE wifi in the restaurant. The service was a little slow in the morning and faster at night. After a long day in the park, I'm not complaining that a tiny town near by had a good place to stay with good food. Many times on our road trip we had to drive many miles to arrive at a town.
(4)Rob J.
Had an early lunch and the experience was not what I thought it would be. I had the salmon burger. It had a strong fish smell but fair. My wife had the Indian taco and it was just ok. I was really disappointed in the huckleberry pie. In my opinion it is not as good as the pie at the east glacier park hotel. I was really not impressed with this place.
(2)Jessica H.
Great staff, great atmosphere, great food! I highly recommend the huckleberry pie, and the grizzly bait is amazing too! Must stop by if you're in the area :)
(5)Caitlin P.
Delicious food, friendly staff, and conveniently open when most places in East Glacier are closed. Love it!
(5)Madoc P.
Great Place! Great Food! Great Service! Great Prices! This place was a much appreciated find during my stay at the Glacier Park Lodge. The Lodge had lame food and poor service. Luna's, in contrast, was outstanding in every way. Tasty food that was well priced and well served. If I find myself back at Glacier Park I will definitely be looking this place up again!
(5)Garret N.
The food is pretty plain. Nothing terrible, but nothing amazing either. The burgers are cheap, but every option is an added cost which is kind of disappointing. Good service and a nice spot to hang out.
(3)Andrew C.
Good food and prices. Friendly staff. However 5 stars for the owner's taste in football teams.
(5)Leslie G.
I stopped here for lunch with friends during a recent trip to Glacier National Park and was pretty impressed. There really aren't that many restaurants in the area, so it was a pleasant surprise to find one as tasty as this! I ordered the Indian taco (I think that's what it's called), which is basically bowl of chili with fry bread and other taco-type ingredients. Delicious! For dessert, I got the huckleberry pie, which was also superb. It had a graham-cracker crust and a layer of cream cheese in it, which made it different from the usual huckleberry pies served at other restaurants in the area. It came with huckleberry ice cream--yum! We sat outside on their patio area. It's right on the road, but since there's hardly any traffic, that wasn't a problem. This place is really cute and has great food. If I ever visit the park again, I would definitely make it a point to eat here!
(4)Ingrid T.
We had to seat ourselves but the atmosphere is nice. The food was good but not outstanding. It was filling, so good for a breakfast before going into the park. They have a limited selection for breakfast, almost all of the options containing eggs. The service was fine, though at first the waiter seemed very rushed. Overall, a perfectly nice spot to grab a bite to eat, especially in a place where there are about three restaurants.
(4)Lisa S.
Chanced upon Luna's, ordered a salmon filet, so delicious, the husband had the Grizzly Bait, a luscious salmon burger. We ordered the huckleberry pie and vanilla ice cream, their signature piece. Outstanding! We will be back for huckleberry pancakes tomorrow morning. We had a very friendly waiter!
(5)Sara F.
We were in East Glacier for a few days and ate here for breakfast twice and had pie once. The breakfast was great, I thought the burrito was one of the better ones I have ever had and they were more than ok with modifications. The gravy also got a great review. The food overall was about a 4 star, but the service is what pushed it up to the fifth. After a several day hike in the park we stopped for pie and wifi to find a hotel for the night. The owner went out of her way to help us, even offering up recommendations and calling places for us.
(5)Joel M.
Very friendly service and good food. Although it was after Labor Day I was surprised at how busy they were at 7 pm. I had the Indian Taco which was quite good. It's not a taco but rather large fry bread covered with chili and taco ingredients - tomatoes, lettuce, onions, sour cream, etc. See the picture. Dining mates reported the salmon burger was also good.
(4)Craig B.
After a long day on the road and checking into the Mountain Pine Motel, and based on Yelp reviews, we walked over to Luna's, where I had a wonderful tri-tip steak and Better Half had a delicious burger. Being on a reservation, most area restaurants don't have liquor licenses, which apparently are very difficult to get. But diners are free to bring their own beverages, which can be purchased at Brownie's (a store and Internet cafe), right down the street. Our awesome server, whose name now escapes me, readily accepted one of the huckleberry wheat beers I get (for later drinking) after she deftly opened ours using her lighter. The joke goes that every restaurant in Montana has the best huckleberry pie, but the pie at Luna's was outstanding: a thin graham cracker crust with cream cheese spread on it, then piled high with huckleberries. That pie was a highlight of our road trip, and now I'm craving that pie just writing about it.
(5)JaKelly V.
We are staying in Two Medicine but the wind keeps blowing out the propane stove so we are out to eat. The atmosphere is really sweet and log-cabiny with optional outdoor seating. They have a very clearly marked GF menu on request. It is BYOB (which is AWESOME in my mind). Salsa is fresh. I had a side salad with homemade dill dressing that was delicious. I also had the chili which was very good although milder than I prefer. Hubby said black bean burger was good and a nice diversion from the heavy meaty burgers that the west is famous for. Price was competitive with the rest of the area. Kids said that their meals were good (and a good deal). In the end, we were so pleased that the potatoes and bacon around the campfire were a bust. Huckleberry pie around the campfire was some of the best pie we've ever had.
(4)Laura K.
Went here for dinner based on a red bus driver recommendation. Very cute interior! The Pittsburgh Steelers memorabilia was a pleasant surprise. No refills on huckleberry lemonade or tea was slightly disappointing and both drinks lacked a strong huckleberry flavor. I had the Indian taco and it was amazing! Highly recommend. Another member of my group had the salad with French fries and steak on it and she said it was very good. Saw lots of people order sandwiches which looked good. We might go back again for lunch before leaving the area.
(4)Amanda H.
Spent a couple of days in Glacier mid-week to catch the early season in the park. Hit up Luna's for lunch on a grey day, and it was excellent. Sweet-potato red pepper homemade soup took the chill off, and our group's range of sandwiches (grilled cheese, BLAT, chicken tender) were all great! Didn't try dessert. Service was quick and friendly, atmosphere was fun and quirky (trivia cards on the table, wi-fi, local coffee/jams/artists highlighted). Definitely would go back. Great little gem on the east side of the park.
(4)Jinky B.
Super friendly staff. It was located next to our motel, so easy to get to. Tried the local dish, Indian Taco, which was delicious and filling. The waitress suggested some great local craft beers. Definitely check this place out if you want a lovely Mom and Pop's place!
(4)Vikram S.
If you are ANYWHERE near Glacier National Park, and that includes a 100 mile radius, make time in your day to have a meal at Luna's. The ranger at Logan Pass Visitor Center recommended to us that Luna's serves the best huckleberry pie on the planet. What he forgot to mention was that they also make a killer vegetarian burger with their own patty. Every dish we ordered was so delicious and the service was top notch. This was well worth the drive across the park to East Glacier. And yes, the huckleberry pie was indeed as good as the ranger claimed it would be. In fact, it was so good that we headed back after 2 hours to order pie to go.
(5)Meridithe M.
A pleasant surprise just inside Glacier National Park off Highway 2. Food was fresh and inspired. Wait staff friendly. Lots of huckleberry dishes and each one quite yummy. Prices were very fair which is appreciated where tourists are the only frequenters.
(4)Roger I.
We just had their fabulus huck pie ala mode. Chuck full of berries. Both sweet and tart. Light grahm cracker crust. Just one small detraction: pies for the family, two coffees = $43. Forty-three DOLLARS. Okay, we have 4 kids... But FORTY-three dollars (for country dessert) is aMAZEing.
(4)Katrina V.
If you visit Glacier National Park, do not miss this homey little restaurant!! Stopped in here with my boyfriend. We were planning on camping but heavy rain at the park made cooking impossible. We were hungry and just chose this place randomly. One fry bread, two grilled cheese entrees and a sice of the huckleberry pie came to only a $20 bill....seriously! Everything was sooo good. I wish this place weren't so out of the way so I could go back some day! AND GET THE PIE!! I'm not a pie fan, but I could hear literally everyone in the restaurant saying yes to the pie, so we went for it and it was SO GOOD. I'd never even had a huckleberry before...oh man, I'm still dreaming of that pie.
(4)Nicole F.
Home made huckleberry pie and icecream is the catalyst for the 4th star. Wonderful tartness mixed with sweetness and very creamy icecream. The buffalo burger wasn't bad - maybe a tad overcooked for my taste but the home made chips are delicious. Love the cozy atmosphere too.
(4)Alan M.
What a great find this restaurant was. It was recommended by our B&B hostess and we were not disappointed. Two of our party had the salmon which was very good. The other two had chicken sandwich and steak respectively. All meals met our expectations. Huckleberry pie was also very good. One of the pleasant surprises was the little extras that came with meals. Things like pesto and aioli. Not something you'd expect to find in an area geared toward hiking and outdoor adventure. Service was excellent. Prices were quite reasonable. Owner was very pleasant and happy to talk to us about our experience.
(5)Dianne B.
Quaint interior, good food and service. We ate lunch and breakfast and liked both.
(4)Chris H.
I had takeout from Luna's for breakfast, and while the food wasn't bad, it wasn't anything good enough to impress or even really satisfy me. The prices were okay, and so was the food, so I don't have any real complaints. Still, I'd keep looking to find a really great meal.
(3)Marta T.
Great atmosphere for tourists to make them feel like home. Good service, good food (salmon burger). Huckleberry pie DELICIOUS. Just a tiny thing...fries were more like potato chips which made me a bit upset.
(4)Brenda B.
The perfect family-owned restaurant after a long day of hiking in Glacier. The staff was super friendly and managed all types from hunters to families with small kids. We loved the zucchini fries, the taco soup and - even though we were stuffed - we enjoyed some huckleberry pie.
(4)Susan L.
The salmon burger was very tasty, but the huckleberry pie was the most delicious I have ever tasted!
(4)Oliver T.
These are good people. They had only been open a few nights. When I complained that the blue cheese dressing was thinner than water, the owner/chef brought me a delicious, newly made, thick, dill salad dressing. Yum! Then came the $18 steaks! My serrated knife wouldn't cut through. This was the toughest steak we have ever had...ever! Hungry, but had to leave most on the plate. We did tell the nice waiter that perhaps they should search for a new meat vender. Hopefully, by now they have improved the meat quality. That steak will not bring them the success they deserve.
(2)Karen K.
Log house look. Play area outside for kids and dogs. We had good black bean burgers (tasted like it had meat in it...hmmm). The potato chips they serve are basically deep fried potato slices. Pie is good, not vegan. Good service. Small bathroom.
(3)Nancy L.
Of all the places we ate in the area, we truly loved this place. The food was delicious and the service was really fantastic. I got the turkey burger with fried eggs and swiss cheese, and it was cooked to perfection. The turkey was juicy and tender. Along with my turkey burger, I had sweet potatoe fries, and that was yummy too. I typically don't ever finish my entree, but not only did I finish EVERYTHING on my plate, I even got dessert! For dessert, I got huckleberry pie with the huckleberry ice cream, and it was the best pie I have ever eaten in my life! It was SO delicious that I had two (one to take back to the lodge, which I ate immediately arriving to the room). :) I plan to go back here for breakfast tomorrow. I recommend to all visitors!
(5)Alliekate S.
I don't know how to star this place, since we left before eating. It's a cute little place and folks were friendly, but we waited about 10 minutes just to get seated and then sat at our table another 10 minutes without having a server come by. So we walked next door to Whistlestop. The Luna menu looked fabulous, so I was disappointed, but after hiking all day, we were too hungry to wait 20 minutes before even getting water.
(2)Clara M.
Eat breakfast here before going to Glacier NP. When said the pancakes were big, they weren't joking! They are as big as the platter they are served on! My husband had the Western omelet with hashbrowns. All the food was great and so was the service.
